Iberostar Cozumel Mexico

Located on the southwestern coast of Cozumel, Iberostar Cozumel is a 306-room resort that offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere with bungalow-style guestrooms and all the amenities you would come to expect at an all-inclusive resort.
Standard rooms consist of a king-size or two twin size beds, an en-suite bathroom, cable television, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, coffeemaker, complimentary mini-bar and room safe. Rooms also have private balconies with hammocks!  And for larger groups and families, thirty of the standard rooms can connect. The hotel also has six luxury suites: four Junior Suites and two Presidential Suites, all with terraces and ocean views.
Room service is not available at this property and there is no internet access available from the guestrooms, however, guests can access Wi-Fi at El Cedral or the main lobby. There is also a business center provided in the main lobby. Though the hotel might lack in some areas, the service, entertainment and dining options at the Iberostar Cozumel are great and certainly make up for it. El Cedral, the poolside buffet restaurant, caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences and the food is always fresh. It also doubles as a steakhouse at dinnertime. Other restaurants include El Sarape, serving Mexican cuisine and the Cozumel International Buffet.
The resort does an excellent job of offering something for everyone, families or couples, young or old. Guests can play tennis, basketball and beach volleyball on the hotel grounds, visit the fitness center or intimate spa, and at night the on-site theater hosts nightly performances and revues by the talented entertainment staff. For an extra cost, scuba and snorkeling is also available with the on-site Dressel Divers International. Lucy’s Club kids’ program is also available for younger children ages 4 to 12.
Another great aspect of the Iberostar Cozumel is its commitment to sustainability. The hotel earned Green Globe Certification—making it the first hotel in Cozumel, as well as in the Iberostar chain as a whole—to do so. The entire staff undergoes continuous and extensive sustainability training and the hotel management also makes efforts to get involved in local community development.
If you are seeking an intimate respite in the Mexican Caribbean that is also eco-conscience, then look no further than the Iberostar Cozumel.
